Executive Chef:Benson Cheng (Cheng Wen-pin)
Experience:25years
Entering food and beverage industry in his late teens, chef Benson had the fortune to get his first job at China Trust Hotel, which was considered an upscale hotel in Hsinchu at that time. Then, after having gained experience at several Western restaurants, Benson joined Hotel Royal Hsinchu at its opening, more than a decade ago. During this time, he learned many exotic cuisines from guest chefs who visited from abroad. In addition, he not only expanded his own personal culinary skills, but also brought different exotic dishes to the hotel's customer. "Insist on being oneself, overcome any difficulties" is his working motto. His insistence and persistence on work have let him successfully win the trust of customers, and also gain an excellent reputation in the Hsinchu area!
