Nangang's hills were once covered with tea gardens, and tea making was part of everyday local life. The tea sieve appeared throughout the process. The corridor lighting at The Place Taipei draws from this familiar tool, reinterpreting its circular form through layers of material and geometric light while carrying traces of Nangang's tea-growing past into the hotel.
